    Code of Conduct

As an event organised in collaboration with Bifrost, we are obligated to follow Bifrost’s code of conduct. To make sure that is possible, we have created some guidelines to follow while at Knudepunkt or interacting in the Knudepunkt community.

There is always room for one more

When possible, make sure to leave an open space in your conversation. This can be by adding an extra chair around a table or opening up the circle to signal that the discussion is open for anyone to join in.

You are the co-creator of your own experience

Knudepunkt is a community built on diversity, equity and inclusion where everyone should feel welcome and like their experiences are relevant. Yet, you also have a responsibility to do your part in making Knudepunkt a good time for you and your fellow participants.

    Treat each other with respect

Take care of our organisers and volunteers. We all want to make Knudepunkt happen and strive for the best experience possible, but allow us small mishaps and know that everything we do is with the best intentions, even if you don’t agree with our decisions. Help contribute to maintaining our sustainable, respectful volunteer community by considering how you interact with our organisers and volunteers, as well as your fellow participants.

Remember to appreciate everyone who contributes to Knudepunkt through organising, making program items and participating in discussions.

    Always be considerate

Respect boundaries and remember that yes means yes, and no means no. When in doubt, ask.

Assume the best of the other participants, volunteers and organisers. We come from different communities and cultures and might not have the same social framework. Miscommunications happen, so remember to ask for clarification before assuming the worst.

There is room for everyone at the event, and everyone should feel like they are being treated equally.

No form of discrimination or bullying will be accepted.

Everyone should feel safe at the event, and we will therefore tolerate no physically, psychologically or sexually transgressive behaviour.

Deliberate discrimination or transgressive behaviour should never be tolerated, but we acknowledge that everyone can make mistakes, and that everyone who participates can come from contexts where other norms are prevalent. As a community, we want to help each other learn and get better at creating an inclusive and safe culture.

    Safety

    Contact us

If you have any concerns regarding your safety under KP27, feel free to reach out to our safe-mail on:

    Safe@knudepunkt27.dk

    Safety hosts

Safety hosts serve to take care of any emotional distress participants might experience during Knudepunkt.

They will have a separate room where participants can take a break, get some snacks and have a shoulder to lean on.

Safety hosts are not trained professionals and are not expected to solve problems or conflicts. Larger issues will be brought to the main organizers at the discretion of the safety hosts.

    Quiet lounge

There will also be a lounge dedicated to silence for those participants who need a break from auditory stimulus.

The Quiet Lounge will have a cozy and silent atmosphere perfect for reading or just taking a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of Knudepunkt.

    Expulsion of guests

We reserve the right to eject you from the event, without any refund of your ticket, if you don’t follow the rules of the event, pose a safety threat for yourself, other participants or the venue.

The same goes if you don’t follow instructions from the organizers of KP19 or the staff of the venue and if you break either our alcohol policy or Danish law.

But don’t worry. Be the nice person we know you are, and everything will be fine.

    Photo policy

When you buy a ticket, you accept that photos taken of you at Knudepunkt 2027 (except at times and places specifically marked otherwise) can be used by and might be published by the organizers behind Knudepunkt.

If you wish to withdraw your consent to your photo being used you can contact Knudepunkt at info@knudepunkt27.dk to ask for us to delete a photo of you.

However, we expect everyone to be considerate of how and when they photograph participants of Knudepunkt 2027, and only tag themselves in social media posts.

If you are in any doubt, whether or not a person will be uncomfortable with the publication of a specific photo, please ask them beforehand.

Use of generative AI when making Knudepunkt 27

When creating in any capacity for Knudepunkt 27, follow these guidelines regarding use of AI:

We encourage use of spell/grammar checkers and text to speech tools, if it is needed for you to complete your content. Reading and writing skills should not be a barrier for participating in creating Knudepunkt.

We do, however, expect all content to be human-made, first and foremost. This means we do not want content generated from scratch by any type of AI. This goes for written content, but also any form of graphics or art.
